Visualize and track all resource changes on the Changes page

We have a game-changer feature announcement to make! Now, you can monitor every single change that happens across your cloud and SaaS environments on your Changes page. You can find it under the Explore tab on the navigation bar.

On the Changes page, you can:

  • See resource changes over time in a graph view

The graph on your Changes page displays resource changes between specific dates.

  • View change records in a specific time period

Set a time range as well as start and end times to view all changes that happened in that period. Use it to identify and debug every change with information on their actors, change dates, change types, event types, and more. Note: Setting the change time period affects the graph and the list.

  • Filter the change list by types, integrations, resources, and fields

You can filter it down the changes list by the change type, such as modified or added, integrations, resources, and specified fields.

  • Find details about a resource's changes directly on its Changes tab

View a resource on your Changes list in detail by simply clicking on it. All of its related change information is logged and listed in the Changes tab.

Coming soon 👉 Our team is currently working on the Graph page, which will be handy in many cases. Stay tuned!

PDF, CSV and JSON export options for query results and resources view

PDF export option in the query result view

The export option on your Search page is updated. You can now download your query results in PDF format in addition to CSV and JSON.

  • Resmo generates the export using the query that brought up the results in that current tab.
  • If the query is changed, you need to run the query again to enable the download option.

To export a query's results, simply write a query, run it, and click the three dots button. Then, export in the format of your choice.

Export capability in resources view

You now have the export feature on your Resources page. You can export resource lists in CSV, PDF, and JSON formats.

  • Resmo uses the filters and resources summary data that form the table on the page as is when generating the export.

To generate a resource view export, go to your Resources page and select a resource type from the left-side menu. Then, click the three dots button from the top right. Export in the format of your choice.

Go ahead and give it a try!

Latest improvements for Resource Groups

Hi there Resmo users. 👋 We've made a few improvements to resource group creation and update processes.

  • The values you can refer to in the Field Name are no longer required to exist in the selected integration's all resources. Resmo lists out the 50 most frequent fields in the integration's resources as selectable.
  • You can also write a field name that doesn't exist in the list. I.e., myFieldName , myFieldName.tags , myFieldName.createdBy.userName etc., can be entered manually.

  • It's required to select one of 6 value types for a field's value.
    • Equals, Not, Prefix options accept string input.
    • Numeric accepts number input.
    • Exists value accepts true - false.
    • Range value accepts a range between two numbers >x - <y

Introducing Graph View for Resource Relations 🚀

Monitoring your cyber assets individually is one thing; understanding relationships between resources and how they are connected is another. Now with the latest feature, you'll be able to observe your resource relations and obtain critical contextual knowledge.

  • To see the relations of a resource in graph view, open the details of an asset and take a look at the Relations tab.
  • From there, you can visually view how that resource is connected to your other resources.
  • There's nothing manual involved. Resmo automatically collects your resource-related data and generates the graph.

Break down the complex resource relationships

Being able to view an individual asset's entire relations map comes in handy in many ways:

  • Quickly understand the relations between your cyber assets (i.e., how they are connected or where they belong to)
  • Make your decision-making process easier with the visual map
  • Visualize the blast radius, a.k.a. how a threat to a resource can affect its other relations
  • Understand your asset context in order to amplify your incident response operations

Context is foundational in many aspects, including your company's security posture, incident response, vulnerability management, and asset management efforts. Sounds like something you'd like to try?

Head over to your Resources page and open a resource detail to see how it works!

Add Manual Rules inside compliance packs

A new improvement on the compliance packs side! Now, you can add manual rules as controls in your compliance packs.

  • Create and update manual rules for compliance checks that require a manual process
  • Affect the overall compliance score based on the status you define for them (statuses, descriptions, and comments of manual rules can be changed manually)
  • Add comments, links, or evidence into manual entries

Ready to discover? Try creating a custom pack and adding a manual rule!
